Sandy Paws & Whiskers was founded by Kacie Macrides in 2026 after she saw an opportunity to bring a more personalized approach to professional pet care.
A lifelong animal lover, Kacie takes the time to get to know the pets in her care, understand their normal routines, and provide the kind of attention she would want for her own animals. She is also continuing to build her knowledge and hands-on experience while working toward becoming a veterinary assistant.
For Kacie, good pet care comes down to being attentive, following instructions carefully, communicating with pet parents, and treating every animal as an individual.
